Live Interviews
As a fill-in host on All of It, Kousha Navidar sits down with Regina Spektor, live. They connect over their shared backgrounds as immigrants and piano lovers. Kousha asks for music recommendations, and Regina reveals her favorite part of the piano. On WNYC, Kousha conducted many interviews with high-profile guests and live callers.
Video
Kousha Navidar asked listeners to do an experiment with him live on WNYC: open up YouTube, search for the word “Patriot,” and send him their search results. There were some conspicuous differences in results. That’s the “filter bubble” in action. Hari Sreenivasan asked Kousha to do the experiment with him on the PBS/WNET digital series Take on Fake. Kousha also introduces the concept through one of his guilty pleasures: watching restoration videos on YouTube.
Kousha’s video and digital appearances have included interviews and short-form video content for PBS’s YouTube channel.
Writing
Kousha Navidar and Harrison Ford wrote this script together. Conservation International aimed to promote nature in the 2020 election. Nature and science must be a top priority when people choose their leaders, implores the video. “Vote to save nature. Vote to save your children’s future. Vote as if your life depends on it.”
As a speechwriter, Kousha has written for and advised politicians, celebrities, and executives around the country.
